That's almost exactly what was paid last year - just £27.09 between them! January has a reputation as being long and tough, but the DFBXmas payments typically crash in February for whatever reason. So this is a call to KEEP IT UP! You're all doing brilliantly!
That is a LOT of money! Well done everybody and keep at it! :T:T

I was sooooo very lucky to receive a bonus and a pay rise  in my January pay so I was able to chip away at the debt more than normal! Woo hoo.
Paid my Tesco card off in full and £300 extra off of my Bcard.

Wahey!!!
Feb is looking tight for me - too many birthdays so maybe that's why it's considered a 'flat' month! However, am going to get eBaying and calling in all my invoices/expenses etc. so here's to some amounts coming in via those bits and pieces!
Keep at it guys - you're continuing to be awesome!

Swings and roundabouts for me this morning
Just had my pug at the eye specialist - he's going to cost me about 2 grand by the time it's finished. This is the biggest lesson I've learned - check your insurance docs have the right details because otherwise you'll find yourself like me not covered and in a horrendous position. After trying so hard through January I am absolutely gutted
But it's got to be paid for. I just need to get my head down.
On the otherhand revised payment to credit card went out. Normally I would be running round the room fist punching the air at being over 20%. It's hard knowing that in a very short while I'm going to wipe out what I've paid and my debt will increase.
Meh. Ignore me. I need to keep my head in gear and keep focused. I CAN do this, it will just take a little while longer.

Wow! What a fabulous total! Well done everyone :T
Ah the joys of pet ownership! I've recently sold my old car and was going throw the full amount at one of the CCs. Unfortunately I've spotted a couple of lumps on my dog that needs checking out. We're at the vets tomorrow so will see what we're faced with then. Don't get me wrong, I'd sell the shirt off my back if she needed something but there always seems to be something to set you back. In the last 3 months alone I've had to have a new washing machine, new tv, had car problems and the tumble dryer is also dying on me but that will have to wait.0 -

Oh my goodness I know right?! What is it with cars at the moment?! They're deciding to drops bits, sprout holes, leak and start squeaking for no apparent reason! I'm hoping using a seam sealant on my petrol tank will be enough to pass it for its June MOT - if not it's scrapheap challenge for me! But keeping an eye on the penny-reserve for such an incident nonetheless.
You take the decision to start monitoring and controlling your finances and your STUFF conspires against you - break! BREAK NOW!! :rotfl:
