When donating to charity you'll usually see the cost quoted as 'texts cost £10 plus the cost of one standard rate message'. Your mobile provider must state the cost of 'one standard rate message' in their price list. Some fail to do so.
Inclusive allowances normally cover text messages to geographic numbers starting 01 and 02 and mobile numbers starting 071-075 and 077-079. They exclude messages to numbers allocated in Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man and messages sent to and received from mobile shortcodes. You can't send a text message to non-geographic numbers starting 03, 08 or 09.0
