Thinking about things I would like to do next year and, as there are many parts of this country I have yet to full explore, I wonder where the Elite would recommend in their neck of the woods, or indeed elsewhere. Please discuss.
Isle of Skye (it's too long since I went, and I need to go back soon ... fingers crossed for 2015)
Shropshire (a county that people tend to drive through on the way to Wales, but has a lot to recommend it ... if you go, have a drink in the Six Bells and think of Jelly:))
Northumberland (stunning countryside and coast, huge landscapes where you won't meet another soul)
Dorset (another county that people tend to pass through rather than stop, but they should do ... take some Thomas Hardy novels to read while there)
Llyn Peninsula (a recent rediscovery for me, lovely people and great food ... take a trip to Bardsey Island and say hello to Colin the boatman from me:))
Cotswolds (can be very touristy, but if you want a place that is quintessentially English, this is it ... almost too beautiful for words)
...and last but not least...
Yorkshire (I don't really need to explain why, do I?)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Evening all.
Night shift for me:(
We all put money in a pot for xmas and new years goodies for the staff on duty over the festive season. Lots of things over xmas, fridges and cupboards full, and when we came in tonight the day shift told us to make sure we saved food for the day shift tomorrow.
We opened the fridges and cupboards when they left to see what goodies awaited us, and
there was next to nothing there. Just some dried up and ood stuff like fermenting coleslaw left over from xmas, and a couple of packs of Pringles:eek: We found a few cans of diet coke, and a few packets of Walkers crisps.
I took some pics with my tablet to prove there was b all here when we came on duty.
Good job I brought several boxes of glitchy chocs in with me.
Hugs for the poorly peeps.
Emz, leave the 'help' alone:rotfl::rotfl:
Loving the Elite new years resolutions
Gotta go, work calls.
See you later for New Year good wishes.
