    Morning all
    Hope everyone warm and well
Blinking freezing here this morning hard frost but no snow, am no looking forward to clearing car windows before picking up DGS2 in a bit.

Probably old news for most here as my kids tell me I'm usually behind the times but I have just noticed that the Odeon kids pass (5 tickets) on sun perks was due to end this weekend and it is now saying every weekend until March 29 2015. hth

    Morning Emerald,

I can't help waking up at 5am, even in the hols!

Reading back, and looking for Mobility Aids for DM on Ebay. So glamorous!

DH wants to tile the kitchen today, but I think I want to go on a Big Cat hunt! 2 Lynx obsessed teenagers in this house!!

    Good morning peps

In our local lloyds chemist they have mobility aids from the tri walker to grippers & gadget to pick up things that fall, I noticed the tri walker was reduced, (b4 Christmas) & I think they have a discount on Wednesdays for oap & disabled don't pay vat hth. I had a picture was going to get one for my I laws but I must if deleted it.

It usually only works on C&C. I have one to pick up between 9-10am so better get dressed. I will post if still working soon.

I haven't realised until my own kids are turning into teenagers just how bonkers we were getting married at 17 :eek: We were mad!

There was talk about proposals a while back? My OH went to my Dad and asked his permission :o my Dad told him he was very noble but if he wanted to marry me, I'd do it without anyone's permission anyway :o he also told him if he was marrying me that I was his responsibility and he'd get landed with paying for me to go to uni ( he was trying to put him off :o ) my OH joined the army a week later and did indeed pay for me to go to uni

My Dad was impressed with that ;)

OMG - you have packed a lot in :D

How long a gap was there before your brood started to arrive?

This is the important bit in our lives - when you are just a couple with no responsibilities.
I think we had 5 years on our own - we should have been something momentous - travelling the world and doing fabulous things. We didn't - we were just looking after aging parents and grandparents, going to work and coming home again - that was about it. I think the furthest we went on holiday was wales and even though we had 2 wages we never had any money...
I don't remember any of it now.
