I agree we had a similar thing ages ago think it was with Virgin agreed a 12 month deal over the phone 3 or 6 months later 1 discount goes and I was just hitting a brick wall, same sort of thing no one would offer you that, who did you speak to etc etc I said no idea but see who signed me up to this deal check your recorded calls.
They got back to me recorded calls not held for that long but they spoke to op and they did not offer me 12 months only the 3 or 6 whatever I had received.
Told them what I thought of that but was getting nowhere and still on a decent deal so decided it was not worth the hassle and I had no proof.
So now as fc mentioned we get everyone to email us the quote/deal etc
Subject access requestthey have to provide you with any recorded calls they have had with you. If they claim they haven't kept them it's fair enough to ask them for their destruction policy on them. It might also cost you £10. Probably only worth it if you are talking a reasonable sum of money.
On the other hand, it's ALOT of hassle for them and rather than trawl through phone records they might just cave in.......0 -

I know what I've been meaning to ask you!
Whatever happened with that phone company that kept calling you even after you told them to stop and you billed them for your time?!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

We're not all fond of being up all night with sick kids  No, I'm usually quite relaxed about it but he has seriously overdone it today. He kindly emptied all the unopened windows from all the other advent calendars this morning.
When I said to him he should have eaten the cake and left the magnum because the cake won't keep but magnums do he wailed 'But it's Saturday' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
