:rotfl::rotfl: sorry but your lad is priceless, :D last night my dd1 partner had 4 puddings while here  as he could not pick, very hard work telling the youngsters they could not have 4:o

It was the fact that he was eating the magnum quite civilised until he saw someone else with some cake. He then started to demolish it whilst trying to tell me the as soon as it was finished he was having some cake. I won't tell you what he's already eaten today
We've compromised and 'hidden tonight's piece away so he can have it another night.

I had to walk away to not let him see me sniggering when I said he should apologise for what he called me. He said 'ok you're not fat but you bought the magnums and you bought the cake. It is quite a poo headed thing to do, buying 2 things for someone who struggles with decision making'

........so basically it all my fault :rotfl::rotfl:

You are probably right, its not worth a lot of hassle with them. I can't remember if I followed the MSE link or not - I probably did but I can't prove it now. It was just annoying me that it was their own staff that insisted to me that we would get £125 not £100 because it had gone up. I felt that, having told me that, they should abide by it even if it was their mistake.

I agree we had a similar thing ages ago think it was with Virgin agreed a 12 month deal over the phone 3 or 6 months later 1 discount goes and I was just hitting a brick wall, same sort of thing no one would offer you that, who did you speak to etc etc I said no idea but see who signed me up to this deal check your recorded calls.

They got back to me recorded calls not held for that long but they spoke to op and they did not offer me 12 months only the 3 or 6 whatever I had received.
Told them what I thought of that but was getting nowhere and still on a decent deal so decided it was not worth the hassle and I had no proof.
So now as fc mentioned we get everyone to email us the quote/deal etc :D
