    Good afternoon all.

Absolutely no chance of catching up the last four days so I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy Birthday to anyone I may have missed.

Hope everyone is well and warm!

Hi Hope you had a great time

Well I've written a sort of a shopping list. Going to Ts because I have a £10 PP from the other day and it's a bit more civilised than As. Shame the butchers cat food on CS is only for Asda. I'll have to get that another day.
I also have the rare luxury of actually getting to drive my own little car since DS1 is here. So much easier than trying to park the tank :D

Thanks mrsmac! Spent Christmas with friends and have just made it back through the snow to my own little house again. I had a lovely time but it's good to be home. :D

    That is fantastic progress :D

I keep thinking about getting myself a smartphone, but it would break my heart to have to upgrade from my £1 a month contract :rotfl::rotfl:

My current phone is now nearly 3 years old, battery lasts a fortnight and it does all I need. It was a £20 phone from the Vodafone shop and people that see it think it is a very thin Blackberry :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Problem is I can't have the 02 offers :( That is the only thing that is making me think that I need a smartphone, I keep wondering if I could get away with using wifi for those, there is reasonable wifi in our local town centre so I would be two minutes walk from most of the places that do the offers on 02 :D

If anyone sees an incredible offer on a reasonable smartphone can you shout please :D

  • Afternoon all

    Survived work :p
Was an interesting walk in though, it's like a big giant ice rink out there  took me half an hour instead of 15 minutes :rotfl:
Thinking about taking a wee jaunt to T's but that'll involve defrosting the car and I'm not really sure I cba!

Right time for some lunch and a cuppa while I ponder what I'm going to do :)

Bexy and Gardenia......are the heroes comparing to M at £1.50?

Hi there, I'm just popping in (in theory). I've been trying to stock up on T's "festive" favourites in A since Xmas. My main A yesterday obviously had no deliveries and looked like it had been stripped bare - no Cod Portion (not unexpected), no loose bananas even, no White Potatoes, no milk, no Cauliflower. I abandoned much of that shop and managed to do some of it from another store. Today, yet again no Cod Portion, at least they have something out on the fish counter now but they are a couple of different prepacked items and not much else, although I managed to sneak another bag of potatoes shop in.

I noticed the Doritos instore went onto £2.48 and 2 for £2.50 yesterday (exactly the same as what the Pringles did) - but they've still kept showing £1 r'back on msm:(. Ones to keep an eye on maybe.

I know I'm neither "Bexy" nor "Gardenia", but the answer to the question is No. The Heroes will not compare vs £1.50 on the APG as that's an "online exclusive" price for M. If they compare at all vs M, they'll compare vs £3.00 for one (or any 2 at £4.00). HTH.
