so we had a very nice Christmas, everyone on their best behaviour except for OH who was being his usual argumentative self but we tried to ignore as much as possible.
Last night a discussion broke out where by OH insisted that the blonde actress in The Killing was the same actress as in The Bridge, clearly not but my OH is NEVER WRONG EVER on any matter .

very easily checked on Wikipedia in a matter of seconds and that would have been the end of the discussion if my OH had not snatched my ipad out of my hands to prevent me looking it up.

That is the point I stopped being nice and flipped - no one ever touch's my ipad for any reason whatsoever.

so ipad is being well hidden now out of harms reach, don't trust anyone else with it.

I so relate to this, my Oh thinks all internet devices are the devils work as they make him look stupid.................don't be so arrogant about the FACTS when they are just conjecture

Op after the phones, now I can recommend these. The BT ones seem to have a good standard of manufacture.

    Happy holidays everybody :T
Quick post to say I saw cadburys heroes and roses cartons reduced to £1.50 in two of my stores and they were still showing as £4 online and mse ,
I had an order ready to try before the holidays but no slots so took a chance and they've just been delivered ,
Paid £4 each online and showing as paid £1.50 on paperwork :T
I will post as soon as the results come in .
Hopefully compare to sains and work out free plus some extra ;)

Did do a search and noticed it was mentioned but not tried so fingers crossed.

Yes I think that's at least partly it, always the last one to go up at night, always tidy up before I go up and wash up (yet again) so I am at least a bit sleep deprived. It was 2.30 last night and even then I just could not get off.

Apple rage - glad there is a name for it. Its my most precious thing, I won it in a photographic competition, it has been the most significant change to my life and it goes everywhere with me, totally devoted couple :rotfl:

We went from no apples to a apple family in 18 months:o
We got ds3 a kindle but the buttons were too hard to press for him and then a charity gave him a iPad 2 and he uses it instead of a tv:)

    Good Morning :)

Still no snow here. In fact it's not even that cold. I had a very rare lie in this morning. Was lovely. DS1 took DS2 for his walk on the beach and sorted breakfast. What an :A

I might be forced to go shopping later. Just to top up on essentials. I have to say I'd rather not but people won't stop eating

Nerfy I hope your boys are feeling better today

surprised you have not had any snow yet, you are not much further north than us. Stoke on Trent had a goodly amount last night - on top of the hills - we had the wet fluffy stuff, mostly gone this morning and replaced with rain.

My gang but in particular youngest son are also obsessed with eating - he literally cant go more than 2 hours.
We just went on the off chance to Sainsburys yesterday and they had loads of fruit and veg reduced so eldest child made salad with avocardos and left over turkey for lunch.
We then ended up doing a roast pork leg for dinner with more roasties, Yorkshire puds and veg etc - worked out cheaper than the pizza originally on the menu.
This was followed by raspberry sundaes - my own composition.
Then it was chestnut sausage rolls, pork pie, satsumas, matchmakers, and whatever else they could graze on for the rest of the evening ...

Yes only people with ipads know how deeply attached we get to them, they get into your soul and change your life forever.

Did you get a new one for Christmas or are you still using your original one?

I got this new one a few weeks back. An unplanned splash out on myself. It was actually a very good deal I was offered from O2, who I have my phone contract with. Dropping hints about wanting one for my birthday and Christmas got me nothing other than new handbags  so I took matters into my own hands  :rotfl:
