  • silly question, but do you buy the 3v card from Tosco using your clubcard and the voucher out of the mag then take the 3v card to Sada and buy a Sada gift card using the 3v card to pay?

You have to process them on the 3v site, and then again on the highstreetvoucher site.

I use Avios to pay for our yearly trip to Antigua. Have a look at Head for Points, and Paidtoshop, lots of info on both of those sites. hth.

Munqui Yes. Mmmmmmm, it is really REALLY yummy. Only a 500ml bottle though, but yes, definitely worth it. I have 3 bottles now, used wombled apg's to pay for it;) £12 in A.

They need to be a £1 in the store where your c and c gets picked, you then get charged £1 but apg sees £2.95 v £1 t's hth

Thanks bubbs. So it needs to be C&C eh? I've never actually done one of them. However this seems to be such an inviting 'come and get me' that I must check what price they are in my local in the morning.

ps. I wonder if it is just the strawberry and the apple that work?

Anyone else here got shares in Tosco?

I bought some in September after they plunged due to the financial irregularities. I figured that they probably wouldn't go much lower.

So far it's not looking like a good investment as they are 20% down on what I paid. I plan to hold them for a few years but if you could all stop taking advantage of some of their glitches it should help the share price recover ;)
I'm planning on buying more next week.
All those buying Thorntons chocs are helping another of my shares. Thorntons had a right bashing a while ago.

    Evening all.:D

Well, the shopping trip was a disaster on the apg front. No Thorny xmas triggers, no 400g Milk Tray, which is what I wanted. I was desperate to recycle my apg, but I don't need ham, bog roll, sanex, or 10p sweets, so I spent the apg on whoopsies:eek:, ( and a bottle of Baileys Chocolate Lux, yummy:p)

Off soon to collect Greenfinger for the tasting evening. Hoping to see matty17 while we're there. Will report back on our return.

Hi Naebirrac, funnily enough I was thinking of you tonight when I was at the reduced counter. I saw tesco staff with plates of food, e.g. pizza and assumed it was for the tasting evening and thought you would be there! I thought I would give it a miss as so busy lately. The whoopsies have been amazing this week. I have been very good and have only been twice but they are seriously over ordering! Never seen so much meat esp the lovely red stickered ones taking off the multibuys. Was going to do an apg this afternoon for chocs but didn't get round to it. Was it ash or folk you went to? Have made a lovely frined at the reduced counter and training her to elite standards! Juju dont think I will need any food at wrose this chrismas eve as they have seriously gone down hill for reductions but might pop there for a coffee with a friend just to see what is happening! Watching ben fogle again. So different to our life styles.

Have changed energy suppliers today and my monthly dd is embarrassingly low. I think my new expensive gas fire is paying rewards in its energy efficiency.

I have been reading the pension forum today and the money they want to live on when they retire makes me laugh. I feel like redirecting them to this thread.

It used to be great when it was airmiles, they covered everything.
Taxes are the same with Virgin. If you check the flight price breakdown, the taxes are more than the cost of the flight:eek::eek:

I agree, not worth buying flights with avios because of the taxes & fees. Same with flights to the States - the charges are more than buying the flight separately. Was so much better with airmiles, when it was all included. You can use them on hotels and then at least there are no additional costs.
