Just checked my normal Original Source receipt from earlier (in my defence, I was buying other stuff anyway and we were low on Mint and Raspberry :o).

Anyway, bought at £2.20 each 2 for £3, APG matching £2.20 each v £1.10 AvM.

Little Anon's are tucked up in bed, just waiting for Santa to come later tonight :).

Merry Christmas to all the Elite - I hope that all of you get time to relax and spend time with family, friends or if on your own, that you are happy too ... well it is one of the two days in the year where the shops are shut and the Elite can have a well earned day off :).

Let's just hope Bespoke have the day off too ;).

    Best Wishes

no joy for me on the cheap turkey hunt as they were still over £30 in m's just before they closed at 5 & around £20 at about 4:30pm so gave it a miss as we'd already got our turkey for boxing day :)
i did get loads of veg & picky bits really cheap in t's so not a complete loss :rotfl:
hubby & the kids have gone to bed already but not before ds3 had a melt down when hubby told him there's no santa :eek: calmed him down but saying what daddy means is that mum's & dad's have to help santa out sometimes which calmed him down & he has hung his stocking on the bedroom door so now i have to rewrap some presents from santa & hope he hadn't noticed the shape of them under the tree :o hubby says i shouldn't bother but seeing as ds3 said when he was having his meltdown that daddy had ruined christmas i think this is the safer option so we can hopefully have a peaceful no meltdown day tomorrow
hope everyone has got their turkeys & have a fabulous christmas :xmastree::santa2::xmassign:
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!

Spot on assessment, Anon! A day of rest will do us all good. I woke up this morning feeling anxious about Tesco and cake mags, so a day of rest is definitely needed !!

I actually used my last coupons today, but then travelled to the next town and picked up another 30 mags, so I guess the game will continue a little longer!! I'm looking forward to not having to buy any 3Vs for a few months (unless we get some HHs).
  • I'm sorry I missed the OS today (too tied up with Mr.T), but there again, I still have a shelf full of colours from the last time they glitched !

If they're still glitching on Boxing Day, please let us know!!!
  • G'night everyone, wishing you all a very merry Christmas xx

Popped to waitrose when I dropped DP off at work, to get the girls a drink for the drive home

Some woman thought she would get my girls out of her way by pushing her trolley into them.

My dd1 has special needs and dd2 is only 3.

There is no glitch in the world or 99% reduced Turkey that would have me doing that.

Oh Lou, hope your girls are OK.

You are so right though... the elite have standards!!.. most of which we hope are shared by other Trolley Wielding Angry Troublesome Saddos!

    Evening all!
I know this is a season of jollity and festivities but for a few people who need it, this might be source of cheer. May it be so.
