Today I have had two very pleasant surprises
Savvy sal Thanks for your PM :A
A young lad in work gave me a Christmas present. I think its sweets but am truly delighted Gave him a genuine big hug but no idea why he would give me a gift
The "boss" did not even wish us a Merry Christmas, never mind a card Actually its his loss as I think we are happier if poorer than him
One of the supervisors gave me a box of Thorntons Premium chocolates She is not an elite or lurker :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Just back from a choir service where GD's were singing Lovely service not too religious and the minister was talking about embracing help and sharing with others Pacifica called what we do sharing forward I like that. I love to share the glitches but its probably not very cost effective really
FC Fantastic gesture :A
Hoping the OS will work on Friday My DS would be over the moon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Catch you all later I still have presents to wrap  Will get them in the morning

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you guys. Hope you all have a lovely time with your families and friends enjoying the fruits of the year's bargains and glitches.
Best wishes to all of you and thankyou for making it such a pleasant thread this year and consequently making my job on the thread a lot easier than it has been in the past :T
Hi RF, I know a lot of people don't realise that you have to monitor this thread on a daily basis, and this is probably 1 of a 1000 that you do. I personally commend you for the work you do and for keeping this thread alive. Without you, this thread would have been closed 100 times over with all the bickering and trolls.
So again, I thankyou for keeping this thread alive.
Merry Christmas to you.

Don't think there's going to be any murals going on the wall here tonight. OH isn't feeling great so I've told him just to leave it and it can get done at the weekend or when he's off next week.
Sorry to disappoint FC and TS!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

There's a fork in the road, which way will you go
You standing still or will you step into the great unknown,
Is yours to decide, this is your life.

thankyou for all your Christmas wishes and being so appreciative of the work I do. I know I sometimes might seem a bit terse when I post but, as scamps has rightly identified, I do have a lot of others to deal with as well so it's not intentional, just sometimes I'm short of time
for someone who's just "a volunteer" I seem to need to spend my life on this forum  :rotfl:0 -
Managed to get a tub of Sprout Coleslaw (ye Gods:eek:) from M & S......not gonna be quite the same is it
Sprout
Coleslaw
Two words that should never be in the same sentence together, let alone the same pot
And I like sprouts :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
