They have never been £2.70 if that is the case according to MSM - even W couldn't bring themselves to charge that much.

As Christmas is a time for reflection, I do sometimes wonder if our stash building, glitch chasing, money saving and inability to muggle shop is a form of mental illness like OCD, hoarding etc or like an addiction. I know some of us are possibly worse/more compulsive than others and as long as no harm is done, then it is perhaps not an issue. We just have to be careful that it doesn't get out of control ... wondering out loud if enough washing tablets, Dishwasher tablets, shower gel and shampoo for over a year is a sign it is getting out of control ...

I personally think it is a sign of getting in control, especially as my year plus stash of loo roll didn't cost me a penny, or my stash of washing powder, softener, air freshener :d It does not take up space that I can't spare. I might have overdone it with the 5Beanz and the energy drink, but we were paid to take that away so ...............

Good point, we haven't paid normal or indeed offer price for toilet roll, shampoo, shower gel, washing powder/gel/tabs, dishwasher or other normally expensive items since we discovered this way to shop - and generally save 10% over and above normal/offer prices too :).

We have better items that we would not normally consider worth the extra expense and are trying out some new items too (like Badoit water - not a glitch but Cashback fratures in our shopping approach too).

Household finances do benefit from this too.

  • Very annoyed with Dr Oetker, bought 6 pizzas yesterday, input the codes and two of them came back as already used. I have emailed them, but you have to wonder if those two had gift cards attached to them and they somehow knew that in the factory and had access to a list of codes :(

Many thanks to everyone on this forum. I have tried a few glitches and I am very grateful for the savings I have made, especially baby food for my niece. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. X

What has the date got to do with it ... oh, the 10 per month limit ... if you are not working within that rule anyway, keep going and see what else comes through
