I managed to do an Avs Sains. shop: we were nearly out of milk. I figured I didn't need to do a shop with the Cod (that is back on vs T at 90p price adjusted, if you had not noticed!) as the Cod supposedly on in T until 28/12, so able to do that after Christmas, and then better with White Potatoes etc. then to last longer. I managed to get the last SP Wholemeal that appears as Brown (actually there were more, in the store nearest to my M, with longer dates not that that matters, and I was having good success there, finding the very specific items I needed for the shop until... no Power Scourers:( - so actually needed to do the shop at my other A, nearer to my second M). Just having the usual heart attack now, as I refuse to buy any more than the strict 8 items:wall:. SP Dish Cloths?:eek:_pale_They are there - with a space between the words, wasn't coming up until I did that_pale_. The only item that I've found Sains Basics actually to be cheaper on. I decided to get some Rubber Gloves - even though they are no longer 24p in S and have risen to 30p:eek:. I decided rather that than being ripped off in S by getting only a couple of gloves, merely a single pair.

It's busier than a Saturday today:(. Despite setting out an hour earlier than normal, I still arrived at the same time:mad:. I came right out of the town, not sure that was quicker, circled the entire town and then entered from the other side of the town - probably a five mile detour but it was either that or four sets of traffic lights still to do between me and the store and totally jammed all the way.

    Have you got an Android?
The google maps app is pretty good for gps navigation with real-time traffic updates and alternative faster routes.

I doubt it would help much with muggle induced xmas traffic though :rotfl:

 I seem to remember you saying before you can't use MSL as no smart phone....

I was supposed to be taking little miss to see the xmas lights at George Square about 5pm but my wife called earlier to tell me about the accident and we decided it was best to avoid

    Such a shame :(
