It's happened again. I was driving at 'approximately 30' in the temporary 30 restriction and soon had cars not far behind me. Then, it changed to the 'default' national speed limit (60 for ordinary cars on this single carriageway road) and, immediately, I was travelling out miles in front and soon caught up with the car that had been in front of me several hundred metres away. They don't actually stay at 30 (forced by me) but they do speed up a bit - to about 40:( in the 60 area.

It's busier than a Saturday today:(. Despite setting out an hour earlier than normal, I still arrived at the same time:mad:. I came right out of the town, not sure that was quicker, circled the entire town and then entered from the other side of the town - probably a five mile detour but it was either that or four sets of traffic lights still to do between me and the store and totally jammed all the way. Clear 50 mph signs on the route back in - they don't do 50 mph, they then do 40:(. Unless you absolutely need to, I wouldn't even bother trying to go out - it shouldn't be a surprise that the retail parks are absolutely packed. I'm just coming in to news of a major accident in Glasgow:(, unfortunately again it's just so terrible.

There's very little change in M today. The Tango packs and Tildas are still on 'ridiculous full price' - Tango cans (6) should be onto M vs T. Today isn't the big changeover, it's next week - so watch out for them next Monday.

Bubb's beef is back. So that may compare again. Or maybe not. It seems to be the larger cuts and is clearly available with a big hoarding outside my second Morries. The (fresh) Beef Meatballs have gone up in price: that's about the only change and they will be removed. Apart from that - I might add the Terry's Chocolate Orange as they appear to have gone from £2.75 bogo'f' to £2.75 b1g2'f' - not the best we've had but may need to wait if then risking three. 3 for £2.75 in M - or 2 for £5.50.

The S/P Cheese & Onion Pasty was removed last time - doesn't seem to have an M equivalent any more - there is a SEL, but no stock, in one of my stores today - it might still work vs M, but maybe not. Versus T in any event. Watch the Hopper's Mince Pies be removed, just at the moment when you might want them. Still at 65p, but concluding that is too dear. Of course you should have got them months ago at 49p when they would now be out of date long before Christmas:wall:. A few things may get added to the list as I have details for the first time. I couldn't find any Diced Swede pack in either of the two Ms today - no stock and no SELs at all - so they may become a risk, or maybe not.

Oh dear:( - hearing more details of the Glasgow crash:( - horrible.

LEJC - great news, I'm so pleased for you and your family.

Bubbs and dipdab - not sure if you need any, but asda f/c has reduced loads of fresh party food. Its the buffet type stuff thats all in the 2 for £4 range, they've put it all in the sandwich fridge at the front! All reduced to between £1.08 - £1.30, and dated boxing day.

The "BPBV" Oranges packs and Gala Apples, according to what I see in my M stores, are no longer on 2 for £1.50 but now straight 99p. Therefore, removed. Santa Festive Friends are on 2 for £1.50 until 28/12, however they may not compare against M. This would be on T PP since they have never appeared yet for M on the APG (and it now appears A is OOS). Although they are on this offer in M, until 28/12 according to the only store I found them in last time, there is no stock in my M stores checked today and I haven't seen them in many Ms - therefore I reckon it wouldn't work on T PP. T vs Sains in 2s.

The £1.19 cocktail sausages in M are raw ones - not sure if T's are raw or cooked?

Lastly, it may not be good news on the McCoys crisps (switching to APG, keep up:D). Msm suggests the 94p offer is on in M until the New Year; however the offer label in M clearly says until only 28/12. Not that you should buy them now:rotfl:.
