I had a mini melt down as thought our Xmas shopping was finished. I've done it all bar Sat when we both went for a medium food shop. Found it so hard when he said I would need to go for a few more bits we need and burst into tears as really felt sick to my stomach at thoughts of shopping again. Looks like he doesn't want to go either and apparently he is REALLY fed up :( xx

Don't let it get to you i will swop ;)

I am dreading going to Mr T's Tuesday I need food for Christmas day but worse than that mums meeting me and she god knows what with her Mr T mobile phone contract that contract is up. One min she going back to 02 on sim tariff next staying with Mr T and would have a smartphone  She cant use a smartphone it will go wrong and I cant get through to her switch off and back on and problem should be solved :)

Yesterday she wanted a tablet all was going well til she said would she be able to keep her number :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:She thought a tablet was a large thin mobile phone.

She meeting me outside Mr T 7am Tuesday her time wonder if she rings me tomorrow and says that early i not looking forward to going that time :)

Hope i have made you smile . Wished i lived near you i would do your shopping and deliver it ;)

    ((((CJJ))))

My attitude now would be if we haven't got it now then we don't need it x

He needs salt for cooking, we have some but not enough apparently. I don't cook with salt. He needs beer aswell, they didn't have his type at Lidl on Sat. He has some and always gets loads bought. I know he has at least 6 bottles on the way xx

so mccoys 6 pack are going on offer 1/1/15 at 2 for £3 they are 2 for £2 now :rotfl:
but its good to know offers before hand so we can fill baskets with pre offer goods ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:Both of which are worse than M's current straight price of 94p each, which I've been ignoring (offer was something like 88p a few years ago and I'm sure they've taken a 'small' number of grams out of every pack since then:(, but not the main reason for the ignoring - more that anything over 50p for six packs of crisps is too much:rotfl::rotfl:, especially as they are probably 5 packs in old money). There may be a way for them to 'become good' during a price changeover of course, and keep in view M's 94p (assuming that doesn't get pulled beforehand). I'm not sure - it seems to me it might be better if going onto a lower offer but from a higher individual price - rather than the way it's going. T in 2s at £1.88 for 2 - should compare as prices appear consistent throughout. For Northern Ireland - or for everyone if they miss some versions of McCoys off for M. (Unfortunately T may not last as due to end there on 1/1/15, so expect it to go the day before:(, but M supposedly until 4/1/15, which is the Sunday, so will last until early Tuesday morning 6/1 if the last collection before then picked them up.)

I was going to say - so will do so now - that spending £20 in Sains. (cond.spend amount - not a penny more:D), theoretically on 10 different items each £2 in S and £1 in A, and then would have to have none on mbuy in S, it's difficult to get £10 BM back due to A (probably generally perceived as being a cheaper store) having such expensive prices. Anyway - this is vocalisation of internal thoughts once again:D - and makes no sense in the absence of any information I'm not bothered enough to write:rotfl:. Sains is, I'm sure, very happy to match £1 r'back prices given that the r'back prices are more expensive than half price offers available elsewhere and aren't 10% cheaper.

EDIT: Original said "A ... being such an expensive store". Changed to "A ... having such expensive prices" as original may suggest that A is an expensive place to shop, but this might not be correct if using the APG.

    Could you order online perhaps?
Although I'd be tempted to say if he can't be bothered to go out for it that you don't really need whatever it is? Perhaps not as simple as that in reality. But why should it fall to you to go get it. :o Just my take on it x

Aww bless you, bet you would too. You always make me smile tweets. I think because I told myself I was done until after Xmas it made me feel extra distressed thinking I had to go. Distress is a strong word for shopping but it's true with me :( xx

Thanks Mimi, I am working tomorrow, Tuesday, then 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and I'm only not working on 31st because some nasty idiot threw a strop with the office and the wedding has now been transferred to another office. I will turn out for a part of the day for a truly disgracefully low amount ( especially given what thecouple pay) but we will give them our best because that's what we do.

Boohoo, poor me, I am so lucky in some of the important things of life, but I wish people would stop wanting to get married between Xmas and New Year - it mucks up everybody's Christmas, including their guests'. This is the third year in a row I have mucked up my family Christmas for work whilst others do little or nothing, I shall toughen up in future years.

Rant over - and relax. :rotfl:

Couldn't agree more. My SIL got married on 27 Dec and it was a right pain. Not least because lots of guests came from Ireland and the US, all different flights/different airports. We spent the whole time shuttling back and forth, didn't really have any kind of a Christmas or any kind of a break at all really, bit of a nightmare all round. At least they're still together lol.
