Well done TRULYMADLY, that looks like a neat bargain!

The weekend is almost up. The Apprentice finishes tonight and it's back to work tomorrow. Boohoo. I guess most of you are now off for a week or two? Hope you all have a fabulous week off with no early starts.

    Hello Mimi
I wish, we both are working upto and including xmas eve:(

Thanks Mimi, I am working tomorrow, Tuesday, then 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th and I'm only not working on 31st because some nasty idiot threw a strop with the office and the wedding has now been transferred to another office. I will turn out for a part of the day for a truly disgracefully low amount ( especially given what thecouple pay) but we will give them our best because that's what we do.

Boohoo, poor me, I am so lucky in some of the important things of life, but I wish people would stop wanting to get married between Xmas and New Year - it mucks up everybody's Christmas, including their guests'. This is the third year in a row I have mucked up my family Christmas for work whilst others do little or nothing, I shall toughen up in future years.

Rant over - and relax. :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

I had a mini melt down as thought our Xmas shopping was finished. I've done it all bar Sat when we both went for a medium food shop. Found it so hard when he said I would need to go for a few more bits we need and burst into tears as really felt sick to my stomach at thoughts of shopping again. Looks like he doesn't want to go either and apparently he is REALLY fed up :( xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I shall return tomorrow evening probably (tomorrow almost certainly, evening probably) with news of whether the Tango cans and the Tildas have gone on offer or not! As far as I'm aware, both the Monday and Wednesday this week are normal working days - I know some people continue to work over Christmas so all days are working days:(:):undecided, depends what you want I suppose - they haven't got anything in the APG T&Cs just yet to indicate any other collection dates, so it looks like I'll be here tomorrow and again on Christmas Eve. A situation that I'm "not unhappy" about!

Bye for now - see you tomorrow!:)

My attitude now would be if we haven't got it now then we don't need it x

Its the thought that makes me content. Someone took their time to make my life a bit simpler. Doesn't have to cost anything and I wont expect it every year.

    :) xx
