...unless the drive is worth much money? There are tools that will format and overwrite more robustly than windows.

Thanks Munqui. We never used it for online banking. Credit card was used to purchase but we have new card no now so don't think that should be a problem.

After vacuuming yesterday (I have not done this for a very very long time… in fact I think it was last year!) I have decided that OH needs a new vacuum cleaner for his Xmas present.

Equality may have gone a little too far in our house!

Now shall I get him an upright or pull a long one...:D:D:D
