I am doing ironing today - the pile is not (text removed by MSE Forum Team) reducing. I should really do it more often. Laptop beside the ironing board.

I don't even know if ancient ipod still works. :eek: Looks like there is a way but not sure I want to faff around with it today and DD2 has both her laptops with her, so not got spare one here to download it onto anyway. I know several Christmases in a row she had itunes cards for pressies so know a lot of it was bought stuff. But getting rid of ancient computer is on my list. Want it ready to dispose of today.

Would people do a reformat of hard drive before they dump old computer or is there a way of keeping "Windowx XP" on it just in case it is of use to someone? I am far too rusty on IT. :eek:

Have you checked the ipod to see if it is one of the ones they are exchanging for brand new ones???

From experience they turn black instantly so you do not necessarily need to go as far as burning them ... so much for my plan to de wrinkle a womble :eek:

I know it's bad isn't it, when you think it's something I should be able to do blindfolded. I have even been getting myself in a muddle copying and pasting folders. :rotfl:

Doesn't help ancient computer needs crank handle to get it going. :eek:

Ok how do I check this ipod. It's an ipod touch 8g.
