Flight delay compensation for a child.

Hi,
My family and I were on a delayed flight in July and have claimed for compensation from Thomas Cook. They have offered me £972 in vouchers when I clearly asked for cash payment. My problem is that it appears they are only compensating for 3 of the passengers.My youngest daughter payed a discounted price of £1 for her holiday, we paid for allocated seats on top also, are we entitled to compensation for all 4 passengers or just the 3. I have mailed Thomas Cook regarding this but as yet,no reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
