I personally do not like budget tyres, they might be perfectly safe and adequate for a large number of drivers but i do not feel they are right for me
I would agree with you there. I tend to look for quality midrange tyres that don't have prices inflated by expensive marketing campaigns. And even that can be a challenge at times.0 -

I have nothing against a good mid range tyre and as i said some are probably as good if not better than some of the premium brand tyres
I was a long time user of viking tyres and ran them for many years on my ford orion 1.6I Ghia in the late 80,s they were what i would call a mid range tyre and Viking tyres Norway is a brand that is owned by Continental tyres so there is some good pedigree in the stable
sadly Viking Tyres are no longer sold in the UK but the brand is still alive, maybe if the viking were still available i may still be running them but for now i am in the continental stable for my summer tyres and using Dunlops as my winter tyres at the moment0
