I have found Maxxis to be a very good tyre. I have some cheap ones (forget the model number) on the front of the Mitsubishi and have never had cause for complaint.

Likewise the Nexen, Toyo and Hankook -- no problems with any of them.

Not tried the others, but have heard surprisingly good things about Jinyu. Would expect Firestone to be good, but I'm surprised to see Evergreen in the mid-range list as I was under the impression this is a LingLong brand.

EDIT: Seems Evergreen is actually part of Jinyu...

I had Maxxis put on the front of an Octavia 1.8TSI after the originals wore out at 16k. The Maxxis lasted till 40k. To be honest I was willing them to wear out as I thought that I could get quieter and grippier tyres, which I eventually did.

Wear rate is good but grip not as good as the Goodyears that went on afterwards.

I've got Evergreen on the front - much better than the Falkens they replaced! Also got Jinyu, again no problems in rain/ice or slushy snow.

I think maxxis has a free damage warranty,
My brother had some maxxis and a few months later got a puncture, (I'm not sure if the puncture was reapirable or not) but they just gave him a new tyre free of charge!

Falkens are rubbish for new tread depth.
