Littlewoods returns

I am having trouble returning a very large item to Littlewoods, I did notify them within 7 days that I would like to return the item and they agreed to send a delivery team to collect. It is now 4 weeks on and I have had made 5 phone calls and have been given 5 different dates, they failed to turn up to collect on every occasion. On my last call to them and after a 20 minute wait i did manage to speak to a supervisor who apologised and after looking into my account decided that they had not collected because they don't have my phone number linked to my account. (strange as they manage to call me regarding a lost payment earlier in the year).
Anyway, as a "gesture of goodwill" the supervisor offered to credit my account by £10 to which I agreed as I was only really concerned about the cost of all the calls involved. I then gave them my contact details again and was given another collection date......which was yesterday, and guess what....no show again.

Any advice as to where i go from here please? I really can't be bothered for another morning on the phone going through the same questions for a sixth time.

  • Littlewoods have been horrendous recently - I certainly wont be using them again. They have let me down so much recently and no one in their call centre is capable of helping or even giving the right information. WHY?

Copy of email AND letter sent in to the Customer Excellence Department back in November, no response to either.

    Dear Sir or Madam,
    Order number: 602281823922, 602296997490, 602308083014
Ref: Delivery complaint due to breach of contract
    SECOND COPY OF LETTER
On 4th November, 8th November and 13th November you agreed to sell me 9 items split over the 3 orders. I have not received any of these items. One of these orders contained presents for my daughters first birthday which I had to source from elsewhere last minute.
It was agreed you would deliver to me on 11th November, 13th November, 15th November and 18th November - confirmed verbally by your Customer Service Team. You failed to deliver on all of these dates including the reschedule dates of 13th November and 18th November.
I had to take 3 full days unpaid annual leave at 7.5 hours per day which represented a net loss to me of £*******.
I do not now wish to receive the goods from you – I will be placing no more orders with your company.
I would like to also claim £******* for the cost to me of repeatedly ringing your 0844 number and having to explain the same thing over and over again for 20+ minutes at a time.
It may also be useful for you to look back over the multiple emails I sent in and note the lack of useful response.
As a customer who has spent a lot of money with you over the last few years, I would have expected better.

I'm not expecting a response - I think they just brush complaints under the carpet. Let me know how you get on!

good luck from me too, have an issue with a faulty phone from Very that is three months old and they are giving me the run around. I had to remove my phone number because of another issue, and they have sort of implied unless they can contact me by phone, they are not interested.
  • I have been trying to email Littlewoods using Resolver about a complaint and apparently that email address is not longer valid?

They have no email address advertised on their website and want people either to use twitter, Facebook or telephone calls.

I have called them before - but despite promises, have not had any return call. Any ideas on where to send complaints to them?

This is quite sad - i have used them before and their customer service team was always good...but this seems to have changed.

Have you tried asking in the livechat for a valid email address?

Alternatively, use their physical address and send them a letter.

  • hi,

i have spoken to their call centre twice asking specifically for their complaints department. They gave me queries@littlewoods.com and help@littlewoods.com. There seems to be no other email address to complain to

I have received the following response:

Thanks for getting in touch with Littlewoods, unfortunately this email address is no longer available for Customer Service queries.

We want you to have the quickest and most efficient service, so please give us a call on 0344 822 8000 and one of our Customer Services Team will help with our query. They are available 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week.

The call centre operator has suggested I pay the Incorrect installments on my statement - even though he could see that I have a balance of £0. He said that it i would be reimbursed when they updated the account. Now i have been asked to pay another installment and the problem has not been rectified. I

Does anyone happen to have the correct postal address for complaints?

could you not try, as you seem to have tried enough, social media or email the ceo. I have read that has worked with other companies on here, and I have done it myself with a utility company after getting nowhere with customer services.

    From their website:
    Littlewoods
    Customer Excellence
    Sandringham Avenue
    Chelmsford,
    CM92 1LH
Or their registered office address is at the bottom of every page on their website.
