Can I Change the Moto G Opening Screen?

My Moto G (1st generation) always starts with a Google search page and I have to touch the home page symbol at the bottom to get what looks like the proper start page with all of the icons on it. Is there a way of getting it to start up on this page?

Thanks roddy, wallpaper lets me change the background but when I press the button to start the phone it shows a page with the Google search box at the top, the last few searches and a keyboard at the bottom.

I'd like it to open to the normal page with icons and whatever wallpaper I've chosen. At the moment I have to click the symbol at the bottom to get to the home page. Or have I missed an option in the wallpaper menu?

That's where they are. The problem is that I don't see that page when I press the button on the side of the phone to turn it on. That always takes me on to the Google page as described above. From there I have to touch the home button at the bottom of the screen. It's a minor thing but annoying to have to make the extra click each time.

Strange that, should go straight to the main home screen rather than Google Now.

Try Google Now Launcher from the Play Store?
