The witness is witnessing only that it was signed by the party concerned in their presence.
It should be no-one related to that party.
If lenders are coming up with daft requirements, that's because of them and nothing to do with any legal requirement.I am a mortgage broker. Yeah right! So you need some legal advice on a legal document so you ask........ an estate agent! :eek: ...... :shocked:Does it have to be a professional person ie doctor, policeman etc? The Estate agents have advised it can be my next door neighbour?
