maybe you could update it for this year
Bilmey, give me chance, last I looked it was only May
if anyone wants to discuss Christmas present ideas now I will gladly link them to the thread but I think the home made gifts and celebrations index is a better one (sorry squeaky, you'll have no fingers left at all, they'll be all typed off).
As Trow said some suggestions (like Queenie's belly button blow drier or the hampers) don't have to be for Christmas they can be used for Birthdays too. And things like the wedding gift thread hasn't got any suitable Christmas prezzies on it. And a lot of the links in the Christmas links thread link to the old site.

P.S. housemate and I will not have to buy Christmas crackers again for the foreseeable. I like them but he reckons they are unnecessary, so in 2003 I said I would buy them. On way home from work on Christmas Eve 2003 I got two six-packs of good quality crackers from WH Smith for £5.99 on a BOGOF... as there's just the two of us we've only used 4 over two Christmases, and at the current rate of progress they should last us until 2008Bargain_Rzl wrote:Other than obvious moneysaving hints like buying next year's cards/crackers/candles/wrapping paper etc. in this year's post-Christmas clearance sales, I've found it makes more sense on most counts to shop in the pre-Christmas rush.
