Happy New Year TNM.
Fresh new year, the possibilities are endless.
This is going to be a good year for you, I can feel it. Its a year to take control back and get life sorted :j
I have no real experience with gambling, I do know that I REALLY hate all the gambling adverts on the TV nowadays. I really feel like it shouldn't be allowed.
We all have our weakness's though, mine is finding any old excuse to buy something from Amazon & Ebay.
We just need to figure out what our triggers are which compel us to start spending/gambling etc.
If its internet gambling you dabbled in, I don't suppose it would be a good idea to download a parental control onto your pc?
We have BT internet and they provide a free one, on that we can type in specific websites to block.
Tell me to shut up if I am being silly, but sometimes that slight hiccup to get onto a website, might be just enough time to make you stop and think when you are having a weak moment.
I have been very tempted to do that with Amazon & Ebay. Maybe I should??
Anyways, I hope you have a lovely relaxing day planned. I look forward to following your journey to success in 2015 xxxx0 -
Good morning Stressed a very happy new year to you too
My daughter has put anti gambling software on my pc and mobile (she is so much better with technology than me)lol
My triggers believe or not was my debt I used to think if I could just win all my debt money life would be so much better and believe it or not I did win £10000 once from £500 pound but I lost it all being greedy so it pushed me further in debt.
I think we are going to debt bust so hard this year creditors won't know what's hit them :rotfl:
I hope you had a ace new years eve thankfully I can't drink on my medication so I am sat here eating cereal hang over free lolSaving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

Not a NSD today but I bought next years Christmas cards all really cheap and my step dad Thornton chocolates for his birthday only £5 for a huge box, it's a bit of a standing joke in my mums house as he always steals her chocolates so I got him a box so she can steal his :rotfl:
Put petrol in today as well so that should last me just over a week and I won't need much food at all just milk and bread and fresh fruit so I should be able to get that out of the £9 left in my purse and then I can put the the rest of the food budget in my SPC tub.
The night with DD's dad wasn't great he is in a mess worse than when I met him 18 years ago he is sleeping on a mattress on the floor and has no furniture so sad to see him like that but there's nothing I can do, she doesn't want to stay at his house again but she did get on really well with him and wants to see him again so that's something. She also met her granddad for the first time he's getting on now he's nearly 90 so she was a bit wary of him as he is very loud and he tried to hug her but she pulled away. She isn't very tactile at the best of times but she said he was OK.
it's been a weekend of hard memories and I'm glad to be home again.Saving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

Been working today god it's been hard work I just wanted to stay in bed but that's an extra £45.90 in my pay packet next month.
Me and DD have chicken korma tonight as I misread the label actually I think I just looked at the colour and thought it was pumpkin soup but no it's curryI was far too tired last night, I didn't fancy rice so I have done hasselback potatoes and carrots.
I can't wait until the 12th to start debt busting it will feel so nice to see them go down. I had another NSD today as I couldn't be bothered to stop it was far too cold.
Working tomorrow so that'll be another £90 and a NSD as I will be far too busy. DD did the washing up while I was out bless her so I just need a general tidy round and we are back to some sort of normality.
Off to eat dinner and watch a film with DD and more importantly chill out and relax.Saving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

NSD 3 for me today I have just stopped taking my purse out can't spend if I don't have it with me. Normally on a work day I buy a bottle of coke and sweets and rubbish so it's also helping with the diet.
I am still gamble free and very proud of myself after I have been free for three months I plan to treat myself maybe a day off the diet and have a chocolate baroh how little things matter more now :A

I have just tried the de motivator on here and put in my usual work spends of £5.60 a weekend OMG £270.40 a year that could have paid my car tax and left £40.40 over it just goes to show how all those little spends added up lesson learnt I am going to buy a bottle of supermarket coke and fill a bottle each work day.
This time I am determined my debt will be gone and I love this diary makes me keep track of things and realise where I can save.Saving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365
