  • Had a NSD well sort of my friend gave me £20 for Christmas so I treated myself to a calendar which was 40% off so £5.99 spent and £3.03 on coffees and chocolate bars as a treat for us the rest will have to go on boring things like fabric conditioner to replace the load missing whilst on holiday. also treated DD to a phone cover for a £1 it's cute little ginger bread man.

Saw my relatives from Australia today and mum bought dinner it was really nice to meet my second cousins hubby and catch up with her we didn't stop talking for 6 hours.

It'll be a NSD tomorrow as I am spending the day washing and I have to wait in for my extra work for my job so that will go into the O/D when it comes in towards debt. The house is a mess always the way after a holiday so I will be putting all the stuff away and tiding too tomorrow I will find the inner domestic goddess in me :rotfl:

Not a lot else going on right off to start cleaning although I'm dead on my feet :(

  • Hi TNM,

Sounds like you had a lovely day, always nice to catch with with family/friends you haven't seen in a long time.

I have big cleaning plans tomorrow too. Think 90% of the decorations will get packed away and I really feel the urge to get every room properly tidied and organised.

Kitchen needs a thorough deep clean so that might the order of the day tomorrow.

Nice to get it all clean and sorted.

    Keep smiling xxx

I am planning to save up once I am debt free to go to Australia to visit all my family as some I have never met. I will only need the flight tickets and spending money as both my second cousin and her mum have offered us somewhere to stay.

Cleaning is the one thing I hate I have even been known to use uni study as an excuse for not doing it  OMG I must get desperate for excuses :rotfl:

  • A NSD today and done a mountain of washing where on earth does it come from??

The kitchen is all done and I need to finish the living room as it looks like a laundry as piles of washing to go upstairs. It is so cold today had to put the heating on as I really can't put a third jumper on else I will be walking like a michelin man :D

I have loads of stuff to ebay but that's a job for next week as I have so much to do from the holiday.

Right better heat some pumpkin soup for lunch bit late but better late than never :p

  • When I was at uni the only time my room would be tidy was round coursework / exam time as I can procrastinate for england at times.

I know you said you're seeing a counsler but might it be worth asking them if you should do GA as well? If it won't conflict with what they are doing with you it might be that extra support you might need in the tough times is all.

Role on 2015 and hopefully no more car drama for you as well :)

I tried GA and I couldn't get on with it at all the local meeting wasn't helpful at all for me. They seemed to go to the meeting so they could go to the pub after made me think it should be a AA meeting instead :p

My psychiatrist is awsome he really helps a lot so I am going to stick with that for now

I have threatened the car with the scrap yard so it better behave lol
