Three-Absolutely no indoor signal.

Options
Hi,
I was enquiring as to whether anybody else had been experiencing poor Three coverage, particularly when indoors.
My signal has gone from full HSPA+ to 'no signal'.
I have contacted Three on numerous occasions and have been given varying excuses from ' there is a problem on a mast, we're aware of it and working hard to fix it', to 'We are preparing for 4g'.
Thing is, this has been going on for weeks now, and when I check the maintenance page there is no record of any planned or proposed works.
I live in Fife, Scotland.
Thanks.

  • In spite of, after entering my postcode, their coverage map and website indicating I should receive an excellent signal indoors and out there is nil where I live.
When my daughter, on Three, visits there is no service at all. I tried a free Three s.i.m in my own 'phone and it was the same. I had to travel some distance to achieve any sort of signal.
This is a different scenario though. There's never been a signal here!

I have that, it really is a *very* poor product on our 2Meg broadband.
Whether it works better with better internet, I wouldn't know.

I am with Orange and for the last 6 years never had any problem with phone signal coverage inside the house.......until this year.

My wife also has an Orange phone and is suffering the same problem.

I phoned up and was told that the handsets could be faulty (how convenient as they are over two years old) but they would send a new SIM card for the wife but that hasn't worked.

My Mum lives a three minute walk away and it's the same problem in her house.

I think some phone operators have been doing something sneaky i.e. switching masts off etc
No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT3

EE have certainly been turning off masts as part of their T-mobile/Orange merging.

I dont think 3 have though - unless there is a MBNL consolidation going on.
