I did they said sue them. I did lose £2500 but I put it on a credit card with 0% for 18months so only paying minimal payments. But if I want to buy a house these charges on my bank statement will affect me getting a mortagaes a d how long do I need to stop to have a good record to buy a house.

The 24 hour cooling off period is for you to cancel your request, not for them?

I'm confused as to whether you are claiming because they won't re-open your account, or because they didn't take your through the correct process?

if you would prefer to take legal advice from strangers on a forum then your own lawyer parents it can only mean your parents are absolute schmucks...

Sorry on phone but here's what happened I went on to chat to reopen my account and they said I had a 24hour cooling off period. As i have a problem with gambling I can win but when I lose I chase I kept depositing money and I lost mainly the real Madrid vs Liverpool game over 2.5 goals but only 1 was scored. I then went on chat to ask why I wasn't put through anything to do with responsoable gambling and. They said my chat had disconnected but I told them u could of contacted me during the 24 hours I done went on chat again and other agent said if we didn't go through the process I wouldn't have been able to bet or use my account but I was and didn't even go through the process

Is there a reason you need to ask a forum full of strangers if you lawyer parents have already told you what you want to hear?

I'm sorry but I'm calling foul.

OP first says they made a profit, now its £2500 losses.

Then there are the parents. For some reason OP calls them lawyers rather than barristers or solicitors - never mind without specifying which type of law they practice.

Am I the only one who finds that strange? I mean when people are younger, they tend to only know generally. But when you're older you tend to know specifics - either through direct conversation with them or overhearing them talking to friends/colleagues.

    Maybe its just me!

And yet you come to a public forum asking for help rather than seeking advice from your "top lawyer parents". I smell a troll.
  • I thought the kids didn't break up for school holidays for another couple of weeks?

First rule of trolling is to make your story believable. OP, you can add your posts to the long list of other things you have failed at.

Goddamit I'm all out of popcorn and the kids are out.

Just because they have rules to follow does not absolve you from your own responsibility.
