Cancelling Sky, possible discount?

Hi all, I've been a Sky customer for nearly a year now (bar a few months), and i'm currently paying £19.80 per month (it was originally £32.something per month, but I managed to get the discount for new customers for the first year, hence why i'm paying £19.80), i'm wondering if I haggled with them, would I be able to persuade them to keep it at £19.80 per month for another year? If not then I would have to leave as I doubt I would be able to afford the original price of £32.something per month.
I don't have much experience with this sort of haggling business so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Last night I rang sky saying I wanted to reduce the price I am paying (which is a fair bit). They went through what I had and I explained who uses what. Instead of them reducing my packages or removing items they said as I had been with them over 7 years would they would give me a 25% discount (I believe they were doing this discount for new customers) for 12 months. The nice thing is they haven't entered me into a new 12 month contract so I can leave any time I want.
What I'm trying to say is.....give it a try, you won't know until you ask.
Good luck!0 -
Just cancel, the day it switches off there will be a 50% off offer on your sky account online at the moment. Hold out a little longer and you could get 60% and £100 credit.
