Vodafone upgrade nightmare

Hi all just looking for a little advice as to what my consumer rights are in this situation. To cut a very long story short I upgraded my phone on 5th November to an iPhone 5s 64gb on a 4g plan with vodafone both lines on the account were upgraded on the same day during the same call and with exactly the same plan and discounts applied I recieved one handset and tariff change over no problem the other one has been a nightmare!! After over 150 calls to vodafone over the past month and being given numerous delivery dates for the handset Vodafone yesterday told me that they no longer stock the handset and if I want to upgrade I will have to now have a different handset although they will waiver the cost of this I will not be eligible for the discounted line rental they offered which would leave me with a bill increase of £20 per month on a 24 month contract!! My question is as I have it in writing what I was offered in both text and email form can they just simply do this? There was a system error that kept cancelling my upgrade apparently but over the past month they have had hundreds of these handsets in stock!!! Can they simply just do this as mentioned I do have all of the order details in numerous written formats and I am left fuming at the situation I am now left in any advice would be greatly appreciated

I can't help, though I found the original post perfectly "readable". Lack of a few paragraphs doesn't render a post unreadable.0
