Best site to check of a phone is stolen/lost?

I've been offered a Galaxy Note 3 by a baghead family member and would like to know which site is the best for checking to see if its stolen/lost etc.
They only want £50 for it - I assume their dealer is due tomorrow, hence the low price.
My plan would be to take it to CEX and sell it if its not stolen.

I do know that she's had this phone for most of the year and has been using it.
I just think her dealer is due this weekend or she owes money out.0 -

However if that is what you think and it's not an iPhone then pay the £50 and ignore the adviceIt's not just about the money0 -
95% of all phones that are blocked is because the networks have not had full payments for the contracts and does not apply just to iPhones. It also can take up to 3 months for a network to block so what a report says now can be different in a month or two

Have you got any proof of that? I've worked for 2 networks and it wasn't procedure with either, blacklisting happened for lost, stolen and fraudulent connections, never for a customer going into default on their account. That was handled by sending the account to collections and DCA's, the handset has nothing to do with the debt.
The only exclusion I can think of might be O2 Refresh where a seperate agreement covers the handset finance.====0
