Attaching a Christmas wreath to the door
Comments
-
I make two wreaths, one for inside, one for outside. I tie one ribbon from one wreath to the other, then hang over the door so they counterweight each other. As the thickness over the door is only as thick as the ribbon, the door closes fine. Nothing is fixed to the actual door, so no damage.
(if one wreath is heavier than the other, just adjust the heights you place them at accordingly.)1 -
I use the 'command hook upside down on the inside' method and it has never failed me...

I made up two hangers this morning from a some thin S/S bent to hook in the top gully and then drop down the door, took a whole couple of minutes each to make.0

I've passed some of these ideas to a neighbour who has been having the same problem. So simple but inventive at the same time!0

There are sticky hooks and sticky hooks. I've used a 3M "Command" hook successfully on a composite door in the past.0
