Hi
Has anyone bought a refurbished iPhone from any major network directly? If so how was it? any problems? They advertise 'as good as new' just wondered if that was true...cheers

I'm bumping this up the list (does replying to a message do that? ) as I'm also curious
Sorry it's not an answer to your question0 -
I got a refurb iPhone 5 from Argos about 1 month ago.
I've not had any problems at all, they have a 1 year Apple warranty on them and tbh I couldn't tell the difference between this refurb and a brand new iPhone 5 that my partner got around the same time (apart from different boxes)0 -
refurbs could also be 14 day returned, phone arrived with faulty battery anything like thatDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

So long as phone is Apple refurbished it should be good as a new one and look just the same (apart from packaging).0

Last week I received a refurbished IPhone 5S from 3. It was damaged (a small dent behind the on/off button). Struggling to get a replacement from them. They're saying I did the damage. I'm being passed form pillar to post. Customer services wouldn't give me Head Office address to complain to-told me to find it on the internet. Have taken advice from CAB, and have been told that 3 don't have a leg to stand on, so I'm just going through the process of contacting the ombudsman about it. 3 have rung me to try and get me to cancel my contract with them, over this matter. CAB have warned me that if I cancel, the 'burden of proof' will rest with me to prove that I DID do the damage. BUT, as it stands at the moment, the 'burden of proof' lies with 3. They must prove that I didn't do the damage, if they are trying to avoid changing the phone. They have also tried to restrict my consumer rights. I'm documenting/recording all conversations with them and taking it further.0
