Do Orange Match 'three'
Hey
Im a newbie. I'm looking to upgrade my mobile (on orange at the moment). I like the sound of the new 3000 off peak min x-network that '3' are offering for £25 a month. Will orange match this tariff??
They dont advertise if they will or wont and I was wondering if anyone has had a THREE tariff matched by orange when they have threatened to disconnect......???
Can anyone shed any light?

I think the answer is that officially they don't match it but you MAY get lucky, I'm sure there is an old thread on this somewhere!
However if I was you I'd make damn sure I had a good reason to stay with orange - i.e. no 3 signal where you are because with cashback lots of 3 deals work out much less than half-price line rental - so even if they do match it you are paying more than twice as much!0 -
Orange price-matched a 3 tariff for me yesterday:
500 cross-net per month and 150 texts for the first three months, 120 text for the remainder of the contract for £25/month.0 -
Orange price matched the Virgin tariff for me (I'm a really low user) I just rang them up and asked them. You had to have been with them for over 12 months and you can't change your phone (or, you have to sim swap and not tell them :shhh: ) or they charge you somthing like £120 for signing up to the tariff  that's more than I spend with them in a year (nearly). Not sure if this has changed or if it applys to 3 though, sorry, not much use am I. They did me all of this over the phone though so if you ring them and tell them you are thinking of moving to 3, could they price match I'm sure they'll give you all of this detail. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0

That isnt a match. On 3 you can pay as low as £4.99 per month in your contract and get a Nokia 6630 phone for FREE. No one can match 3.0 -
Hey
