Family Games Night

So recently my family has started a bit of a family games night tradition where everyone gets together once a month and play a few games.
So this year for christmas I was thinking of making my parents a games night hamper with some family games, drinks, snacks, ect in.
So I was wondering what games anyone here has played and enjoyed? Everyone involved is over 18 but the whole family is involved so nothing too rude/ drinking based!

Balderdash is really hilarious and Pictonary is good too.
One of our favourite games was free though where someone else sticks the name of a person on someone's forehead so everyone has one and you go round in turns asking yes/no questions to try and find out who you are.
Probably sounds like gobbledygook the way I've explained it but it's great fun!:rotfl:Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Articulate can be fun too. 0 -
Articulate and Outburst are fun, mostly verbal board games.
Articulate is where you have to describe what's on the card - e.g. Tower Bridge "it's a structure that crosses the water in London with tall bits on it", or whatever pops into your head - you couldn't say tower or bridge. You describe as many as you can in a time limit when it's your go.
Outburst is based on topics. There'll be 10 items from a category on a card and the other team have to name as many items on the card as possible in a time limit - e.g. ten flavours of ice cream, 10 James Bond films, 10 things you brush.
I find both are fun, because they're energetic, relaxed, more focused on talking than the board, and there's a lot of scope for funny answers. You do need two teams to play, so they're both ideal for 4 or more players. Even if you have 10 or 12 playing, it's still manageable.
Have fun!0 -
I was going to say cards against humanity... but not if you're playing with the whole family. That would be a BAD plan.0
