Doesn't need to be a specific brand. Any microSD card will do. I'd say avoid eBay but you're set on Amazon, so just look for the size and speed (class - 10 is fastest) that you want. Class 6 upwards will be just fine, and I guess 16GB or 32GB are about the best value at the moment.0

Try and get a Samsung card and make sure its class 10
Some phones don't like the class 4 or 6 also you have to watch some of the really cheap sd cards because they won't work very well
Just a bit like buying a camera card you get good and bad
Look at link best sd card on the market
You don't have to buy that one just look for it on Amazon if thats where you want to buy from.

I had been using Kingston for SD cards for years before that, and have since went back to them again and never had an issue. All your base are belong to us.0 -

I think like you say you must have got a dodgy one because i have been using the Samsung one's for about 5yrs now and never had any trouble with them.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

Must be something wrong with your phone then
I would take it back from where you got it and get them to exchange it:D
The phone works fine with one of these:

Motorola telephone support tell me it only supports Class 4 or 6. A pity they don't mention that in the spec or user manual.Stompa0
