I had 2 phone calls from my card company 2 minutes after I applied for the free sim card with mobile chooser asking had I signed up to a mobile contract with carphone warehouse. Id explained id used my card but nothing should have come out of my account and they confirmed nothing had.

It looks like mobile chooser is connected to carphone warehouse. But Ive just checked my quidco account and they have charged me £1, is this correct?

My £25 has been declined.

I spend time this morning going through the motions of getting that free Virgin sim and entering my credit card details, and for what, nothing.

Really mad - i will be taking a clip of the quidco offer, and keeping all references. I'm not letting this one go!

I assume as they are on Quidco they are legit, but then again there are few mobile affiliates that you can trust!!

Quidco have charged you?? No this is not correct!! Sometimes companies, including mobile companies, car hire or restaurants etc put through a dummy £1 to ensure that the card is OK. This is not unusual and will/should be credited back.

:mad: Mine has declined on quidco too. Don't suppose there is much that can be done about it - none of my quidco earnings enquiries have ever been paid.

I Had a call from my card company too asking if i had used my car for carphone werehouse.. Just a dummy transaction which is usually for name and address checking..

Its just been declined in my Quidco account too.. Worth Appealing? I've not spent anything so nothing lost anyway...

Just had a call from MobileChooser saying the sim card was wrongly priced and should have infact been £5.. did i still want it..

Told them to cancel..

Not running the risk of ending up £5 out of pocket for a sim card i wont use and not getting the £20 on Quidco..

Well well well - guess what has just arrived by Special Delivery!

One sim card with the price of £5.01 debited on my credit card. You have 7 days to cancel so I am doing just that! :mad:

Thanks, it does work. Choose option 1 and then give them your ref no. from the e-mail. Mines already been sent but the guy I spoke to was very nice and said when it arrives phone again and they will talk me through returning the phone. I#ll let you know how I get on.
