hi first time posting so pleae be patience with me.
Im looking for new building and contents insurance and ive done a quote with prudential which are giving 75 pound cashback with quidco, Building insurance quote was 67 pound and the contents quote was 64 pound so if i do two seperate transactions for the insurance would i get two lots of 75 pounds, which equals free insurance. Please let me know if anyone else has done this and been paid from quidco.
    thanks

    hi guys
not sure if this has happened to anyone else but i went on quidco the other day and clicked through to more than to do a home insurance quote coz they give 60 pound cb. Ive just checked my cb totals and more than has been added to my total and tracked at 60 pound and i only did a quote not sure if it will validate but it says it will pay out in jan so ill let you know if it does. not bad for just doing a quote.

Quidco is fab jpined late may now just getting the hang of it. Have 226 pounds in my account and have about 110 on equiries

Ive got home and car insurance with prudential and they are excellent and quick at giving the cash back. I wouldnt do the transactions together, I would do them separately. When I ordered my car insurance with prudential there was a fault with quidco and it didnt track. I phoned up prudential and told them about the cashback and asked if I cancelled the first insurance and then set it up again online would I get the cash back. This is what I did and the cashback went through no bother. (I did inform quidco that I wasnt being fraudulent though).

How do you guys use quidco in terms of car insurance? I mean, you already have insurance, you get cashback for taking a policy via quidco, but do you let your existing one expire then renew with your existing company if you don't want to change?

I was with prudential and they sent me a quote through the post. I ordered new policy through quidco (and it was cheaper than my original quote) and the cashback tracked straight away. Prudential also sent me a reminder to renew which I ignored. I also did this with Bennetts bike insurance. I renewed but through quidco and not on the phone and the cash back went through.

just had a couple of £4.80 declined by magazine shop. Was sitting tracking and then just went to declined. No appeal allowed by quidco. last time I use this lot. They sent me emails to subscribe and then reject the cash back after I do.

    It says:
    £4.80 for new subscriber
So I presume that means for your first subscription.

Just ordered 5 magazines in one go, as I presume that's the only £4.80 I can have. Will let you know if it shows.
  • Hi all, quick newbie question...

Am about to renew my car insurance and there are some great cashback offers on there, but is the money always guarunteed to come through?

In other words can I budget to include the cashback?

(does that make any sense at all...?!)
