Seems to me they just want to squeeze out more 'admin fees' without much thought for families.
No not really - the £5 is nothing considering how much you stand to earn from Quidco if used correctly and you buy things through it that you would have bought anyway. It means you can get cashback on insurance, and then so can your dad, and then so can your sister and so can your friends etc - everyone wins that way and gets lots of cashback :T . If you earn £30 a month from them for free, you won't complain about £5 a year will you?MFW #185

Don't get me wrong most of mine have tracked, but I still have £150 in total still owed to me as enquiries and the oldest being from June 2006. They soon bin them and make up great stories as to why they aren't paying even though they must have had there fee from the client....
I'd like to know what happens to the referral fee that Quidco collect even if they don't honor a cashback payment due to a technicality with their 'terms'.0 -

What about joint accounts? What if you want to pay for a spouses or childs insurance or breakdown cover or similar? i.e. the payment is made by someone different from the purchase receiver. So these are ineligable for Quidco. Why? Although there is a registered member willing to make a purchase via Quidco they will not pay out the cashback, perhaps because they haven't got the additional fee. Also if a transaction is completed via Quidco but it later gets declined by them due to their 'terms' then who keeps the referral fee?0 -

My understanding is that if a transaction is declined it means the merchant has refused to pay and so Quidco receive nothing (and subsequently cannot pay you).0 -
I finally made use of the free Tesco sim card with £10 on it that was posted a while back.
I bought a "Bread Card" through quidco which is like a pre-payed maestro card with £10 credit on it, which I payed for via text message (with the free credit in the sim).
Also due to recieve £5 cashback for doing it
this seems like a good idea. i have a £10 sim card to use. does the card come with £10 on it though? it seems to say on the website that the card costs £10. it doesnt say anywhere that it come pre loaded with £10?0 -

Now, to plan the Xmas purchases strategically to get the best deals... plan of attack people! Maybe we can make recommendations on here as to for example:
Best cashback site for:
HMV
M&S
Tesco wine
Boots
Thorntons
etc?
Personally I wouldn't use Thorntons, Hotel Chocolat are much more exquisit and much better.
Do it via quidco for 12% back, and voucher code, try MOTHERS2007 for an extra 10% off......Saving for a lovely summer holiday. Will it be Evesham or Egypt???0 -
