Don't get me wrong most of mine have tracked, but I still have £150 in total still owed to me as enquiries and the oldest being from June 2006. They soon bin them and make up great stories as to why they aren't paying even though they must have had there fee from the client....

I very rarely have any transactions tracked for shopping.com.... is anybody ever successful with these......?? if so, what do you do.?

Also, I can never seem to get the full 2 transactions tracked per day for high Street Web.com. I only ever get 1 even though I do exactly the same each time.. any ideas anyone as why I am struggling with this.??

One more thing,... what do you need to do to get the car source dailly clicks to work??
  • Not bad that is if they pay out ? I have had two items with a value of over £400 each, a computer from Pc World last October and an LCD TV from Woolworths last December and neither paid out despite the enquiry process tracking the items, so dont pay out relying on getting the money, or think it's all sweetness and light.

I wanted to repeat the warning on the first page of this thread for anyone new to or considering Quidco. NEVER rely on the cashback being honored. If purchasing something with a high percentage of the total value as cashback be careful. I'm currently having big problems with two big cashback values being declined. The issues are with Quidco themselves, not the merchants (as some might expect).

Also be warned you can only use Quidco to purchase things for oneself according to their 'terms'. This could be seen as another way for them to get more 'admin fees' because spouses, children and partners all have to have their own accounts.

I know RPoints don't pay out as high a percentage as Quidco but I've never had a problem with it for purchases for myself and my partner (unlike Quidco) and there are no admin fees.

I think most people have stopped doing shopping.com as I too find they rarely track......I usually do one search on the weekend with them and then it sometimes track!

High street........ make sure you leave about 20 minutes between each search and they will track (they always do for me)!!

Carsource......always search for a used car, change the preset postcode, choose a make (ie. ford), choose a model (ie focus) and then search. Make sure you click on one of the cars found and it will open another window!! (this is a lot of work for 4p but as they say, every little helps!!)

    My way is Atkins;)
  • LOL why? do most tracked items not go thru and why. I would hate that! even having to chase stuff up:mad::mad::mad:

If this is the case the Quidco is soooooo not for you!

Less chasing with RPoints, and no annual admin fee.

£591 paid out of £614 total tracked with £8 currently tracking - all since March 2006.

I'm not going to complain about that! Quidco rocks for me....

Hi all, only just saw messages that had been left on previous pages etc asking for the guide - I have PM'd anyone that asked about it, but if I missed anyone my apologies - just pm me your e-mail addy and I will send you the cashback guide for daily clicks.

I had a transaction from Maplins over the weekend that did not track and one from Viking - hoping they will track soon. An M&S one tracked instantly so I was very pleased with that, plus I used a voucher code for free delivery with them (any orders over £30) which also showed that using a voucher shouldn't compromise the cashback tracking.

Finding some trouble logging onto Cashbackchief, although that was yesterday and all was good this morning. On average tracking at £0.40-£0.50 each day so very chuffed indeed.

Now, to plan the Xmas purchases strategically to get the best deals... plan of attack people! Maybe we can make recommendations on here as to for example:

    Best cashback site for:

    HMV
    M&S
    Tesco wine
    Boots
    Thorntons

    etc?

i have a quidco account (opened recently)and i usually phone up all the free nos to try and get my dads car insurance cheaper for him. would it be okay to do this through quidco i.e car insurance in his car or has it to be in my name only

    thanks

Be very careful if using Quidco for others. Here is a reply I've recently received to an enquiry about a high value declined cashback for my partners AA cover I got her :

"Hi there, I'm afraid that as the terms and conditions of Quidco state that accounts are for individual use only (http://www.quidco.com/help/25/), we won't be able to support this enquiry. If your friends and family wish to take advantage of the cashback that Quidco offers, please ask them to register their own accounts. Kind regards, Quidco"

Seems to me they just want to squeeze out more 'admin fees' without much thought for families.
  • Only had a total of 2 things track for me so far and have submitted enquiries for those (not huge amounts though). Everything else has been fine, including payment at the end of the month :)
