    And as they are familiar with these £1 pending transactions whenever a card is used in pay at pump facilities, they should also know they don't ever get translated into actual transactions posted to the account.

    So my previous advice is no longer appropriate.

    I can only base my response on the information given at the time, and I trust such information is given and advice sought in the best of faith ... something that I then often have to question myself over :cool:

    As an update, the correct amount has been taken although there are still 2 £1.00 pending transactions. They'll likely vanish into the ether shortly im guessing.
