Looking to move from Three PAYG to something better
Options
I am looking to switch from three pay as you go to something better. At this moment, I am using the Three £15 addon pay as you go called All-in-one 15. You get 300 minutes,3000 texts and unlimited 4G internet, however I feel it is not true 4G, which is one of the main reasons I am thinking of moving. If I want loads of minutes to talk to my friends & family, I buy skype unlimited world. It normally costs around 9 quid, but you can find offers (would link my source but it might be against the rules
). There was this November deal that seems that it is still available at skypepremium.co.uk - thank me later, I know you will. So minutes are not a concern for me, just the data usage(the more, the better)
Can you please recommend me a better carrier with pay as you go deals similar to three in terms of Internet usage limit? not unlimited, but a fair amount like 5gb
Hope someone will be able to help me

You're looking for 4G with a monthly fair use of at least 1000GB (1TB) ? If so I don't think you will find any other carrier that offers the same at at any price. There are numerous MVNO's that claim "unlimited data" but typically have 3-5GB FUP's then cap speed or are 3G only or have limited bandwidth meaning data, even 4G, is pretty slow and some throttle even modest usage. EE has the most extensive 4G coverage and offers double speed but its PAYG bundle offerings are limited to 4GB max.0 -
EE SIM only 5gb data, unlimited mins/texts for 21.99 (and £70 cashback via quidco)
No PAYG deals get anywhere close to the Three deal.0 -

OP you won't get any better than 3
As for 4G its patchy all over the place very hit and miss with all networks that have 4G all depends where you live
Has for old buffy face EE saying no more waiting for signal is crap its still happening i get it and i only live about 6 streets up from the EE mast
I do have 3 as well thats my main contract.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
£15 for Unlimited calls/text/data on Smart 20 bundle offer.
Usage policy applies, up-to 5GB for data, then 2G speed beyond that.
http://www.gtmobile.co.uk/bundles/en and scroll down the bar on page.
One other very important thing to keep offer, you need to insure you have sufficient balance before the expiry date of bundle for auto-renewal, as it will be deactivated!
Also running an offer of up-to £7 (£2 & £5) free credit for new customers who meet criteria.0 -

Isn't GT mobile just another name for Lyca?====0 -
A friend on me on EE has around 60-70mbs when doing a speedtest, however I had maximum 20-30mbs.
Three caps its 4G at 50Mbps. Performance will vary based on time and place so for exmaple EE 4G is often slower than Three 4G (40-45Mpbs) in my usage area. What's the real world benefit of shifting from 30Mbps AYCE to 70Mbps dlon a 4GB limited data plan ?0
