Anyone else had internet signal issues on 3 recently?

I have, I am on 3 pay monthly and have not had the chance to ring 3 yet. Very poor signal mainly for the past week or so.

  • I think three is overselling, so maybe that is what is causing you trouble. Their 4G definately isn't really 4G

    Yup, same here. Reported problems several times, received "assurances"(?!) over 'phone and by text that they are aware of "the fault" with a local mast, that they are working on it and hope to "soon" have "the problem" resolved. I don't know about their definition of "soon" but, for me, the poor and, often, absence of signal was first reported by me on the 28th of October 2014 so perhaps they use a different definition to me.

    Fed up? Yup and will move asap unless the signal returns to its previous good to excellent performance.

    3's coverage is the worst I've ever experienced from any operator.
    If it weren't so cheap I'd leave

    The thing for me is, they're normally good for internet. Called them just then and a very nice lady refreshed my internet settings without me having to lift a finger, then she credited my bill by 5 quid :beer:

    Hi AK, as you "guessed", I am in the NW. My account was also credited with £5 and the staff I have spoken with at 3 have all been "very nice". Trouble is I am now at about 5 weeks+ after my first complaint, with assurances that they are aware and it would be corrected etc all of which has turned out to be fruitless - the signal is still naff

    I also visited my local 3 shop, who, after I told them of the problem sent off an email to 3 with a copy to me so that at least I have some hard copy of when the issues were first reported. Have to say that I am disappointed with 3 who I have been with for several years since they first introduced mobile internet.

    Argh that is frustrating to say the least. The signal refresh or whatever they did was short lived as the signal is back to very poor at times.

    It's unlikely to be my house as it is a recent issue. She said there wasn't any outages in my area but something has changed recently for the worse.
