Good duvet?

Hi,
Can anybody recommend a good duvet please?
I am looking for a couple of 13.5 tog duvets (single/double). Something synthetic and soft (microfibre?). Looking for something decent quality for a good price. Budget £30-£50.
Bought myself a couple of £20 Slumberdown duvets from Argos, but those are bad, smaller size than supposed to be and very stiff.
Thanks,

Dunelm, good offers, thats where I buy mine. Check the fabric to ensure its not that nasty papery covering.0

wait for the sales and get them from somewhere like Debenhams. You may be able to pick up a down one even.0

Silentnight hi-therm. Toasty warm!0

Why do you particularly want synthetic? I've never found one that drapes as nicely as feather and down...0

Hi Keithu, did you use these? they look Ok, but need to hear somebody's experience with them0 -
I have microfibre duvet from soak & Sleep.
They are good0 -
I now buy cheap ones (Slumberland or John Cotton, from Aldi) , which are then cut up to make for dog beds (small enough to wash), as it's cheaper to buy new than pay for laundering.0

I have one that you can attach an detach, which has lasted years and has no signs of needing replacing any time soon. Fogarty I think.
I think it's a 3.5 tog and a 13 tog, which can then join together to make a really thick one, which I have never used as the thick one is thick enough. Although we do have heated blankets under the sheets, which cost pennies to run all night.0
