    • A new daily Delta service between Philadelphia and London Heathrow starting April 26
    • A new daily Delta service between New York-JFK and Manchester starting May 21

    Thanks for that.
I have just done a purchase ($50 credit for a $50 voucher for House Of Blues), so you are indeed correct.
Not looked at this in ages, and without a car, LV appears to be limited. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I will also have a look at SF, so hopefully I can make the most of them.

I made the elementary mistake of buying more than one stripburger voucher and finding out can only redeem one in 30 days - so I got a refund applied as gift voucher/credit which is still sitting in my account, still haven't found a suitable place to spend it in!
  • In case it helps someone, if you sign up to the Earl of Sandwich e-club they'll send you a voucher for a free sandwich! It expires 30 days after issue so bear that in mind if you're not going to be near one for a while

Just a quick question from a Las Vegas virgin. I've been playing My Vegas for a while, and have accumulated about 350,000 so far. My intention was to use this for reduced room rates. As far as I can see, this only applies to MGM hotels, is that right? Is it possible to have consecutive nights in the same hotel, assuming there are rooms, of course, for example 3 or 4 nights? We were hoping to stay there first, then set off in a hire car to visit relatives, then come back to Vegas for a couple of nights before flying back. Thanks. I know there are 2 for 1 buffets, etc., but the reduced rooms seemed more useful.

Just so I'm giving you the right information - do you mean you've got 350,000 gold coins (LPs)? If you've got 350k gold coins you could be looking at free rooms and buffets, not reduced rates/bogos :)

You used to be able to redeem one standard comp night at an MGM hotel and up to three bonus nights at the same property (if you haven't bought any chips you can only redeem 3 MGM rewards in total though). However, they have made some changes very recently so you can only redeem one standard and one bonus night now. If there are two of you playing, you could each redeem two nights each (one standard, one bonus) to make your four.

A lot of people are saying they think free nights might be on the way out altogether - I'm not saying it won't happen but this seems to be just their opinions, rather than fact.

The room calendars are only out up to the end of June right now but if you're going to be in Vegas before then, my advice would be to grab them now as any reward could be pulled without notice - plenty of people have been caught out by this before!

Other than rooms and shows, rewards expire 90 days after you purchase them (rooms and shows just need to be booked within 90 days)

If you don't go with rooms, there are some good food options - I've got the $50 Monte Carlo credit (50k lps) and the 2 x Aria lunch buffet (78k lps) so far and I'm saving for the 2 x Bellagio lunch buffets now (100k lps). You do need to be staying at an MGM property to use these though

You've sent Mrs.NVH into meltdown with that last bit of news! Where's she gone? Is Sarah still there? She seemed alright! Hopefully they've got someone decent working the bar!

Apparently she just wanted a change. Sarah is still here and says hi.
Derek told us last night that the company might be sending him to another property up in Winsconson:eek:
But if this happens he will send all of the UK contact names he has an email with the new person to deal with.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Reason I mentioned reduced rooms was because they all seem to have a resort tax, so its not really free. Yes, I have about 350,000 gold lp's, but I haven't actually bought any, or bought any chips, just accumulated them over a period. I'll have a go, and see how far I get, as you say, there are also deals on food or attractions. Cheers...

Ah I see what you mean about reduced. Well, the resort fees can be waived if you play enough or can charm the reception staff - never done it myself but Stuie's had great success and I'm going to try this trip.

350,000 should get you some good stuff :)

We got 11 (10 of which are myVegas/comp'd) nights in 3 hotels coming up, we got no intention of paying resort fee's! :):)
If you spend money in there casino, shops, etc, then fee's can get waived..
Failing that, think of something you can complain about!! ;);););)

Just noticed some of the food rewards I been keeping an eye on have disappeared, like dinner for 2 at Mandalay Bay buffet....
  • Yeah the Mandalay x 2 has been gone for a couple of weeks now. I'm spinning like made to get up to the 100k I need for the 2 x Bellagio - made 4k since last night (including two level ups) after I nabbed the Aria x 2 so just another 10k to go!
