    ha ha,

you were stopped for over 2 minutes pointing and waving.

    did you find the cam
Our excuse was trying to find the cam. But the breather came in handy, that was 5 miles into a 9 mile run!
We think the cam is on the billboard stand on the opposite side of the road.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

dont let the exchange rate get you down.

I havent changed money in years, preffering to use the ATM in Vegas and get the best rate at the time of exchange

Its always going to be swings and roundabouts.

I have been when its been as high as just over $2 to the pound and as low as less than $1.3 to the pound.

think how much better off I would have been if I had changed thousands at $2.

Go and a have good time regardless

yep thanx for the advice !!

its just frustrating thats all, and well its 11weeks today(til we hit new york for 3 days then onto vegas) and i just want the days to hurry up !!!

OK a little bit of fun for you all.
Have a look at this link to the earthcam of the Vegas sign.
    http://www.earthcam.com/usa/nevada/lasvegas/?cam=sign_hd

click on archives, select the time slot between 8-9 am today. Forward it to about 8:25am and there in the background you will see 2 little runners (man with blue shirt on, girl in black) stopping to try and see where the webcam is. Well that is me and Tracy saying hello to you all.

    Love it!:j

for the life of me I cannot find the link to the archives for the webcam...I wanted to wave at the screen.

we arrived yesterday and brought a doozie of a cold with us...both of us are a mess...I was amazed we made it to about 10pm last night. At one point I looked at my watch and it was 7:30p and I thought about going to bed but we had only hit the casino about 6 so it just couldn't be done.

Had a great win last night - $0.75 bet, $664 win! The Cleo Deluxe machine (the one with minor and major progressives) - full screen of Cleo / wild symbols bar 1, top middle missing. I have never seen anything like it - hubby has a photo on his phone. It was one of those where anyone walking by stopped to remark abou it. It was so pretty.

Bally's Jublilee tower is OK...I wouldn't say they went for quality with anything and some of the furnishings are already looking battered, but we have a fridge in the room which pleases us. It can store the gallons of orange juice we are about to buy today.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The archives don't show up on a tablet, only a pc or Mac.
Shame about the colds, we had the same thing last time and it damn near ruined the holiday. Alcohol is a good dampner.
