I agree, it's more to do with the bankruptcy situation than the credit card.

We have been struggling to get our three shares per day for a long time now. At least they put some new videos on yesterday (for me, at least) so I can get a few more points before we go.

Ferf, Have a good flight tomorrow and we will see you soon.

We are similarly struggling for shares etc on Social Rewards. I think I have about $130 worth sitting in my TR account, but about $60 of that or more was left over from last September. It's still definitely worth doing, I love how it's easier to spend that myvegas rewards.

Also, there are some great values with the points, as they are combinable with other options. We could do Planet Hollywood buffet, we have a $10 off (per person for 2) in the LVA. So we can then pay the balance using our points, and it will also be tax free. Bargain! Similarly, we can use the Rio 2/1 coupon from LVA and pay using points excluding tax. So using coupons I'm getting quite a lot for these points!! Our splurge last year was Jersey Boys tickets. I love how they have so many uses and also they can be used at weekends (where MyVegas is more restrictive). We're hoping to make good use of both in May, and we're also going back later in the year so will have time to build up more points on both by then! :)

Hope all you folk that are heading there soon have fun! :)

anyone else slightly concerned about the dollar ?!! Its daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam shocking at the moment! :(
I sure hope by Mid May it picks up to at least $1.55 to the £ !!!

Im in the same boat as you(we hit vegas 3 days after you !) i was working it out, I was gonna exhange 2 grand into dollars at $1.51((giving me 3020 dollars)(the 1.51 to the £ was only 3 or so weeks ago !)now at $1.45 and thats gives me $2900 , i know im a bit tight but hey what can i say!
Im just so unsure what to do, a poster above had mentioned about ti droppping down to the $1.30s which would annoy me so much cos i should have changed money over at the higher exchange rate!!

dont let the exchange rate get you down.

I havent changed money in years, preffering to use the ATM in Vegas and get the best rate at the time of exchange

Its always going to be swings and roundabouts.

I have been when its been as high as just over $2 to the pound and as low as less than $1.3 to the pound.

think how much better off I would have been if I had changed thousands at $2.

Go and a have good time regardless

We usually use the ATM too. That and what we have left from the last trip (if any). Just enjoy yourself and don't worry.

    It's someone else's fault.
