I also had one sample missing - the Super Defence Daily Moisturiser. Finally got through to their customer services and spoke to the most abrasive and abrupt women I've ever come across at a call centre.
Without asking any details she said it must have been out of stock and to everything else I said just repeated 'it's in the terms and conditions'.
Frustratingly now that the offer has changed I can't see what the terms and conditions were but the current offer says they reserve the right to 'substitute' any free item. Just wondered if anybody remembers what the T&Cs were on 3 December.

If you see on the website today fro the offer it says:
" We reserve the right to substitute any free item offered with an item of equal or greater value. Stocks are limited"
So yeah, I guess they should have substituted. As most T&Cs are the same. I'd argue the point if I was you!

If you have twitter, tweet about it. They hate getting bad publicity, as it reflects badly on them, in an open forum.

Sample requests are only till stock lasts and it tells this on terms and conditions.

I dont have time myself to call them for a sample nor would like to spend money on phone call for it.

Ordered on 2nd December. Was supposedly in transit on 8th December. Still not arrived. Several phone calls later, Clinique admitted that it must be 'a loss' and have re-ordered the same order for me on priority delivery. That was on Monday...

Total rubbish.
