Just because some says something that is agreeable doesn't make it sane. The sane step in this instance is to call them as it has bothered you to the point were you have had to post it on here.

So you don't think it unacceptable to be 3 days with no reply from a customer service email ? Again, my experience when there is need to contact any customer support is pretty swift, even this time of year. The bbc are a large company and should be more effecient.

Its not great but you've been given possible reasons why. 99% of others (as this thread seems to indicate) would have phoned up right from the start so there wouldn't be an unacceptable wait.

What exactly do you want to happen? Would you like us all to meet up outside the BBC and storm the building for you to demand they answer your email immediately?

Of course not, so your only option is to sit and wait. I've already said if you don't like it then vote with your virtual feet and don't use them again in the future.

You are causing a fuss over something very trivial that could have been resolved days ago.

So all companies work the same do they? How many of the staff employed by the BBC do you think work for BBC Shop? Perhaps they should ask Bill Turnbull to pop down and help with the backlog of emails?!

I'm beginning to think you are doing this as a deliberate wind up - no-one can be this unreasonable , surely?!

They say 48 hrs for a reply....you started posting before the 48hrs were up. This time of year every retailer is busy, also take into account they are likely to investigate before they get in touch with you. Calling them will ease your blood pressure and its not even a premium number.

Well 3 days later and still not a peep from the beeb. I think it's appalling as I have never had such a long wait for customer service to respond from other sites.

Only 3 days! You obviously have not dealt with Easylife group, I am still waiting confirmation e-mail regarding a refund I asked for 2 weeks ago.
